Our Story
Nobody walks into a room and thinks, “I need bergamot.” They think: I want to slow down. I want people over. I need to focus. Burn Mood starts from that feeling and works backwards to the scent.
Moods, not scents
Each candle is named for the moment it is made for: Unwind, Glow, Drift, Spark, Ember and Velvet. Every mood is built from three notes (top, heart and base), blended and burn-tested until it does one job well.
Made slowly, in small batches
We pour in small batches in Toronto. Soy wax takes time to cure, so every batch rests before it is labelled and packed. That patience is the difference between a candle that smells good in the jar and one that fills the room once it is lit.
Built to keep
The matte navy glass and tins are heavy, plain and meant to outlive the wax. When a candle is finished, clean it out and give it a second job: a tumbler, a planter, a home for pens.
